Of a terrible tragedy & crime. The podcast isn't just an examination - and condemnation - of an incredibly sloppy police examination, but also a critique of a system that let the double murders of two well-regarded community members go unsolved. A lot is said between the lines, but one of the most poignant storylines is the ways in which this white, upper middle-class Republican family realizes how unfair, careless, unconcerned the systems that are supposed to protect us truly are. The corruption is endemic & what it says about the hypocrisy of Chris Christie in particular is revelatory. Hope it leads to system changes and justice for the Sheridans.

The investigative reporting is clear and she doesn’t hesitate to work to get to the bottom of things, even if it angers people in high places.

As a recent transplant to the Garden State I am listening to Nancy's outstanding archive. She was already a favorite of mine among WNYC's top talent. What an incredible story that needs telling. Looking forward to the next development as this podcast has helped keep the case alive.

As someone who grew up hearing about the Norcross’s all the time because I was a resident of Camden in the 80s-00’s, its about time someone is shedding light into the corruption. Believe me, in Camden city and Camden County there is plenty to go around! I hope to see more series like this from WNYC!

In the third episode, it's finally revealed that the entire "mystery" of this case is based on discredited investigative techniques. The production team is relying on the assumption that you, the listener, are too stupid to know that blood spatter and fire analysis are junk "science" that were completely discredited in the 2010s. This was a big disappointment; you can usually rely on WNYC podcasts to present thoughtful and accurate info. Sadly, this isn't the case here. The entire podcast is sensationalist, amoral nonsense that only serves to retraumatize a grieving family that's struggling to accept these deaths.
