From the start, Frankey, Tyler, and Coy are an awesome podcast crew and they put on amazing program.
Fun, relatable, knowledgeable, and being themselves, these three host amazing guests, catch you up on DC cinema, and teach newbies the lore from the comics with real experts.
Perfect for deep cut / die hard fans or the causal watcher, DC STUDIOS SHOWCASE is one of my go-to podcasts. I love watch on MAX! You’ll often hear us source the show on our podcast Mostly Superheroes.
Keep up the great work! Can’t wait for the next episode!

Ify and Fiona are easy to listen to. The interviews have some good content. The writing for the show however sounds like it’s from a marketing department and it’s distracting. Like hearing press junket interviews, a Cinema Con intro or Disney+ day pitch for a new show. We’re already watching the show, we don’t constantly need to be sold on watching the show. I’d love if the hosts were allowed more freedom like Phase Zero pod, but it’s sounding more like The Boys pod.

This is a great podcast, even for people who do not read comics on a regular basis. The mix of the hosts is great because two of them are very well-versed in the DC comics universe and one is newer to the Comics universe. Together they have great discussions That tied together the DC comics as well as the other media that comes out from DC.

very cool and different approach to the companion podcast - very informative look into making of the penguin series.

The hosts have no chemistry, half the time their awkwardly laughing over each other, and the the questions they have for their guests just seem made up on the spot. I’ve made it an episode and a half in and it’s almost unlistenable. Love peacemaker and was hoping for some behind the scenes and good interviews this podcast is barely a fan show that wasn’t done well.

It’s a shame because this show does warrant a great companion podcast but this is so cringey and shallow. It’s cool they get actors to do interviews but what’s the point when they ask the dumbest press junket questions about nothing? I’ve heard Ify be funny before but seems like they are forcing him to be corny here. I wish HBO had outsourced to any of the thousands of great pop culture podcasters who could’ve done it justice and gave them the press and access to the actors instead.
