Dan Carpenter’s podcast is enjoyed by every member of our family from 17-77. I can’t help but think we’re reaping the benefits of hundreds of books read and lectures given through the years. Thank you for weaving these great moments of history into such memorable episodes! Our family loves discussing them together.

I had Mr Carpenter as a history teacher in multiple classes back in 2014 to 2016 and I can say for sure this podcast replicates very well the experience of having him as a teacher in the classroom. Dan hits serious notes in a light airy style that makes him very easy to listen to. I would recommend this to the hard-core history listener, and the new to history listeners. The episode links are also really great. Around 30 minutes they’re not too long that they take too long to listen to , but they still have that high level of detail that makes them so interesting. Really enjoyed the first podcasts. I’m hoping for more.

My wife and I can’t get enough of this podcast. Every time we get in the car we check to see if Dan has released another episode. Truly a master of his craft.
