The Russian government ordered Google and Apple to remove an app meant to guide supporters of Alexei Navalny on how to deprive Vladimir Putin’s, United Russia, of votes in regional and federal elections. Protocol’s sources say Google plans to add free TV channels to Google TV, and is currently in talks with several free, ad-supported streaming television channels.
