I have been following Crissle West for almost 6 years now. I am an avid listener of The Read. Naturally I was excited to follow Crissle’s evolution onto this new podcast as well. On The Read I always appreciated Crissle’s passion and chemistry with Kid Fury. Crissle’s Couch is NO different. Crissle is honest, engaging, and has a wealth of legit expertise on life and mental health. I hope that Jade will be a permanent or recurring part of this show. Their chemistry is soooo effortless together. Jade is funny and I love her accent. I can’t wait to hear every upcoming episode of this show.

Let me start by saying I LOVE Crissle. I’m a true fan. STAN even, however, I did not love the first episode. It’s seemed rushed, the music in the background was distracting, and it wasn’t as intriguing as the listener’s letter section on the read. That said - it’s the first episode!! I’m confident she will get there and I will keep listening no matter what!!

Loved the first episode! This is exactly what I’ve been hoping you would do.
I will echo other’s sentiments on a couple things tho..
I would love to hear Jade read the entire letter. You naturally have to cut corners when writing a letter to a podcast, so there’s already context missing. From a listeners standpoint, it just feels like even more context is missing.
And secondly, the music playing while the letter is being read is pretty distracting. I don’t think us listeners would mind the silence.

Love the mix of the show. I thought it was going to be all mental health issues but having the long form interview too was a pleasant surprise. Keep going, Crissle.

I’ve been following Crissle since the very first episode of the Read. I have really been inspired by Crissle’s journey. I will say I couldn’t get through the first episode. Why weren’t they reading the letters as they were written instead of relaying them to us? It made them difficult to follow. I have faith that they can turn this around so I’m going to stick with this sore foot at least a few more eps. Crissle’s more emotional episodes with her female friends on their podcasts were so good that I’ve been praying for her to have a spinoff. You can do this, Crissle!

I was really excited to hear about this podcast since I love the listener letters on The Read and was hoping to get a deeper dive here. Love the letter/advice episodes but don't understand the point of the random guest episodes. Not a fan of those at all.
