Criminal Appeal stands out amongst the true crime podcasts as it features a dual perspective both sociologically and criminologically. Dr. Jordan was my mentor and professor over my years at WCSU and made me fall in love with the field so much that I went to grad school. Her perspective on cases is deep and really helps the people who may not have a criminal justice background understand the victimology and criminology. Great podcast!! So easy to binge.
