I lost my brother and mother within 10 months of each other (very recently). This podcast has been the perfect “comfort food” for this grief filled time in my life. Kelly has taught me to focus on gratitude and it is such a great way to look at things. I love the guest’s perspectives too. I am from Chicago and have had some different comfort foods throughout my life but during these hard losses it has been a Portillo’s Chicago Hot Dog. Thanks for a great podcast.

I recently started listening to this after remembering Kelly was coming out with a podcast. I listen in the car and it never misses. The talks are honest, meaningful, and make me feel more comfortable talking about all things life, death, mourning a loved one, and anything in between. Coming from someone with high anxiety and fears, this podcast helps me keep a level head. Kelly has a very soothing voice and it never gets annoying to listen to. Definitely recommend.

The episodes in the podcast that I have listened to so far have truly tugged at the heartstrings. I just started today with the episode with John Mayer and a few others. I can't wait to listen to the others. Kelly and her guests make you feel comfortable talking about all things life and even some difficult subjects that might not be easy to talk about. I also love learning about her guest's GO TO Comfort Food and the crew (amazing job to them too ) always bring out that comfort food for them to enjoy during the podcast!! Thank you Kelly for your time in doing the podcast and Thanks for the little comfort recipes you leave us with in the end!! You are a huge hug to the heart!!

So glad you had Hospice Nurse Julie on the podcast. I wish I would have had this information when my mother was dying in 2020. She had dementia and we were shocked when she went into the hospital and they told us to contact hospice. We brought her home with hospice and she died in 5 weeks. She experienced so many of the things Julia spoke about. I tried learning as much as possible online as hospice isn’t there all the time. It made me less afraid to know what to expect. Can’t wait to read Julie’s book.
