I did not expect to get into this story but it was a welcome surprise. I love when a podcast sounds professionally produced. No weird tinny sound and clean editing. Even the ads don’t annoy me, which is shocking. LOL! Great story telling.

I wasn’t sure what to make of it when I heard the trailer but was intrigued enough to listen, glad I did. Really enjoyed it! First off the host/narrator has a fantastic voice. I was hesitant originally it’d be full of PC/political/opinionated views points like a huge percentage of these are…it’s not. It’s basically straight classic story telling from the 90’s true crime era. THANK YOU!!!
For those complaining about some repetition, it’s a weekly series, not a full drop…that’s just how this style is done. I’ll add, of the weekly show drops, it was appreciated in my case and certainly nowhere near excessive as a large group of this style is.
My only complaint would be the max sentencing guidelines & taking 7 years in AK to get to sentencing seems a bit out of step with most of the continental US. 😉
But the podcast itself is super solid, I’d absolutely recommend as a refreshing change of pace. Sad story, but satisfying ending.

Intriguing story, great narration, but poorly edited. I don’t know if they only had five episodes worth of content and had to stretch it to six or something, but a lot of information covered in episode one was rehashed in episode two as if you’re hearing it for the first time. On at least three occasions in episode two, I found myself thinking “I know, you’ve already covered that.”

Chris Connelly has a gift for making complex ideas so clear and easy to follow. The pacing, tone, and flow were spot-on and felt seamless. More Chris Connelly!

I thought I was the only one who thought this pod was very slow, but after all the reviews I’m glad I’m not alone. The episodes seem redundant and repetitive this could all be told in one episode.

There is only about 10 minutes of new information per episode. They recap the previous episodes for the first 5 minutes of each episode. It repeats itself multiple times in an attempt to stretch out the episodes and the last 5 minutes of each episode is just telling you who worked on the show
