This podcast was one of the most amazing I’ve listened to in years. I have never felt more understood. It made me reach back and to my doctor after I was told what I was experiencing was not ADHD. Thank you for your research and putting this together!!

Thank you for doing such a great job of asking hard questions about over diagnosis and capturing the mixed feelings and continued shame and doubt women with this condition experience even after they are diagnosed. My son was recently diagnosed and I’ve wondered about myself for decades. This helped tip the scales for me to decide to get evaluated and treated. Thank you! Excellent work.

I’m so grateful for this podcast—it’s really helped me process a lot of the emotions I’ve been experiencing since my diagnosis. I now believe that I started noticing symptoms more clearly during perimenopause, and when my daughter was diagnosed in college. But recently, I went back and read my teacher reports from first through third grade, and they already noted signs of attention deficits. It turns out I had just learned to manage the symptoms all along. Still, so many of the stories and research shared in this podcast reflect feelings I’ve carried my entire life.

This is an excellent evidence-based series on women and ADHD. It’s difficult for me to describe how much this series represents my experience as a woman who was diagnosed with ADHD during perimenopause. Many thanks to the wonderful people at Understood.org for this high quality work.
