I started listening to this to help me with D&C Come Follow Me 2025 because I have such a hard time understanding D&C. The CFM episodes are so helpful.
HOWEVER- the 2023 series on temple garments (very helpful with the new 2025 garment update!), the priesthood ban series, the JST series and the polygamy series are absolute gold. These are the real treasures of this podcast- DON’T MISS THEM!! Total game changers for me personally. I’m not afraid to learn about church history anymore! Scott and Casey speak the truth. They don’t try and hide anything, they aren’t afraid of controversy, they challenge each other, but they present the information in a scholarly way where I don’t feel like someone is trying to convince me or hide something. My only regret was not having this as a young adult. It would have saved a lot of dark years for me. If you read the Book of Mormon daily and study these church topics with Casey and Scott, you will be filled with so much truth. From the bottom of my heart, thank you both!

I’ve really enjoyed this podcast. The hosts focus on the facts of church history and avoid speculation. They aren’t afraid to talk about controversial issues, but they talk about them in ways that allow room for faith.

Growing up LDS I thought I knew everything about the church. Like many however, my parents shielded us from many of the controversies and tough topics that (upon discovery) have caused many I know to leave the church. This podcast is invaluable in confronting and sorting through the rhetoric and hype and uncovering the truth. It has strengthened my testimony and understanding. Thank you my friends for doing this excellent work!

I listen to a lot of podcasts regularly, and this is by far my favorite! The first five or so series are especially helpful in tackling seemingly difficult, controversial topics. I reference and recommend this podcast every time I talk with anyone about church history.
