She’s been an invaluable companion in my own grief journey! From her online groups to this podcast, I ALWAYS feel just a little better after hearing Lisa’s advice and experiences. She’s taught me it’s ok to carry grief in one hand and joy in the other! My daughter, Angel, had a coffee mug that said, “Find joy in the journey”. That’s exactly what Lisa has helped me do! Never wanted to be in this dreadful “club”, but here I am. Just 16 months after losing both of my beautiful daughters, Kellyf54 (8/13/24) & Kaceyf45(8/19/24). I have done grief share groups, grief Bible studies & I just reach out to anyone or any source for more helpful information in navigating this agonizing journey. This was perfect. The podcast from 5/20/2025, truly resonated with me. You talked about how Katie left this earth so soon and the pain of your future with her.. more so, how she wouldn’t graduate from high school, get married, etc. Then you mentioned how you feel that she bypassed the pain of this cruel world we live in today.
I feel my daughter did too. I wish it were different and she was here with me, but I know she is no longer in pain.
Your show is smart, bittersweet, but very relatable to my pain. Thank you.
