Cheap Heat continues to Evolve — no pun intended — out of necessity. Yeah, yeah, it isn’t the same show it was three years ago and the guys are all at different points in their lives so yeah, the show is gonna change. Cheap Heat still got the heart, it’s still got great Ts, it’s still got SGG and Dip, and it’s still an outstanding podcast about wrestling because wrestling is great.
I love wrestling and NYC, so listening to this podcast combines a few of my favorite things. Sometimes it’s a little light on the wrestling, but still enjoyable. I listen when I need something light-hearted on my way to work. I like the varying opinions of Peter, Dip, and SGG and the humorous conflict and banter. Keep it up, guys!
I’ve been listening to these guys for years and it’s the only wrestling podcast I listen to regularly! Beyond entertaining! It’s a must-listen for me every week.
Been listening to this pod for about a decade, from ESPN to The Ringer to the New Era, the fans continue to find and support this pod. Whether it’s wrestling talk or random chats about bagels, this feels like a weekly hang with folks you’ve grown very fond of over time. Shout out to the hosts past and present. Thanks for doing what you do.
This pod is very frustrating. Dip, SGG, and Rosenberg are very passionate and knowledgeable wrestling fans. However, they barely talk wrestling. They spend over half of a pod, talking about bagels, airlines, and their grievances. It’s disappointing how much they focus on other topics because when they actually talk wrestling, the show is quite enjoyable.
I’ve been a longtime fan of this show through various incarnations. When Pete and crew broke from The Ringer I was happy but also suspected the switch to a pay model would be coming soon. It didn’t take very long for content to be removed and placed behind the paywall. Rather than creating new content for Patreon subscribers, Pete decided to take away current content from all listeners and charge for it. Sorry, I’m not following on that. It’s been a great ride. Good luck but I’m out.
