I’ve learned so much over the years about the Catholic faith, much of which has been through this podcast. I have a ton of respect for these guys - their deep friendship is obvious, and so is their love of Christ and the Church. It’s changed a bit over the years as podcast hosts come and go, but the content is always top notch and I look forward to listening every week.

On many of my long runs and workouts when training for endurance events I plug in and listen to your podcast. over the last two years, I have enjoyed the banter and the lightheartedness of the conversations and how you interweave, catholic faith and dogma, and our Saints, our lady, the apostles, the catechism and many other sources into your normal conversations. Thank you for being real people and so inspirational.

What was once a rare opportunity to eavesdrop on priests living full, relatable, faithful lives has become a bit of a slog in recent months. We know that you’re well-educated, guys. But I miss the leaven and salt that Fr Nathan and Fr Michael provided. I’m not asking you to dumb it down, just to recall that it’s big hearts and not big words that draw souls closer to God.

This used to be one of my favorite podcasts. I agree with some of the other reviewers that since Fr Nathan left, it has gotten pretty dull and boring. I am hoping that there will be a return to the fun topics and stories that naturally flow from a group of priests living out fraternity together. I do not need another podcast that is a long theological discussion on an obscure topic. Honestly if people want that they are going to listen to Pints With Aquinas anyways. I will hang in a little while longer to see if the addition of these new hosts brightens things up.

This once was a great podcast, but it’s really deteriorated over the last year. The banter is very stilted, if not painful, while it used to be organic and relatable. The show topics have moved away from matters relevant to my Christian life. Also, the episode comparing Catholic and Protestant theology demonstrated that they have little knowledge of Protestant theology. Don’t bother listening.

As the hosts have changed over the years, they have brought more and more of their US political views into the program, including recent ad hominem asides on President Biden. Whilst their right-wing, individualistic views were always a sub-current, it is now so frequently espoused that the show no longer worth supporting financially or listening to.
