Case Closed! (old time radio) - Podcast Rankings and reviews

Raised by my grandfather who was blind and who subsequently had audio entertainment delivered to the house, I grew up listening to all the OTR shows that he had enjoyed when he was younger. I was thrilled in recent years to come across the vast selection curated here by Relic Radio. While I enjoy all of the different shows, Case Closed is my favorite. I've always had a particular affinity for the old detective stories, and I get a kick out of listening to procedurals from 70 years ago. If you're new to the genre, I highly recommend seeking episodes featuring Sam Spade or Richard Diamond, as they're just good pulpy fun with hilarious dialogue and all of the noir tropes we've come to know and love.

The audio quality of episodes is consistently good, and the host keeps his intros (of each episode) short and simple. Definitely worth subscribing to (as is the host's other podcast, "Relic Radio")

I adore this podcast! I always wanted to listen to the old radio programs but had no idea how many there were before I stumbled onto this podcast. Now I’m hooked for life! It’s my favorite thing to have on in the background when I’m painting.

As a huge fan of classic radio, this podcast is beyond awesome to me. It's introduced me to some I hadn't heard before & lets me listen to favorites again.

The programs are great but I must admit I do get an extra kick out of the commercials-they are so bad they're good!
