Credibility among car dealerships is still far too rare. CarPro certified dealers are the exceptions! That’s the good news. The bad news is twofold: 1) there aren’t enough of them, and 2) the top volume certified dealers are too small as measured by land space. For example, the Toyota CarPro dealer in Sacramento attributes one-third of his sales to the system. If that result is typical, the entire dealership methodology will be in chaos. The multi-brand back-handed mega dealerships have already felt the impact. Throwing more advertising dollars at their declining sales won’t help. CarPro is an earthquake, not a ripple!

I’ve listened to Jerry and Kevin for well over a decade. Very entertaining and Jerry knows the legacy industry and ICE cars very well. However, I can no longer listen to the disinformation around electric vehicles, especially Teslas. Tesla’s business model threatens the traditional dealership model and I believe that is the basis for Jerry’s obvious bias. I think that if Tesla had franchise dealerships then we would hear a completely different message in the show. Also, some of Jerry’s answers regarding all electric vehicles are simply incorrect and misleading.
