Weston Davis is great at what he does, the story writing does a great job at capturing the dreamlike shapes of these encounters, while remaining vague enough the let you form your own terrifying description of them. The consistency of the quality is a pleasant surprise to experience throughout each season. The incorporation of the victims perspective and gaps in memory are a common theme that add to the storytelling in a unique way. The helplessness you will feel when listening intently to these stories in countless scenarios is a testament to Weston’s story telling ability.

I found this show browsing through Apple Podcasts, and it became one of the greatest treasures I have found!
I am cryptid obsessed, and when I was younger I would dig out all the hidden gems from the library that gave some bone chilling stories on these mystical creatures.
To find a podcast like this, with Wes’ amazing speaking ability and writing ability, is pure gold!
I can’t wait for more, and would love an episode on Michigans dogman, a local legend where I’m from.

This podcast is so well written that even the integrated advertising is palatable. The sound design and storytelling are phenomenal and scary but relaxing all at once. I highly recommend it!

Seriously, am a new listener, and I work alone in a large building. Sometimes I get angry at this because it SCARES me lol. The narration is amazing....reminds me of Joe Don Baker ha. And there are moments where I curse out loud because i get so scared and can't believe I am so foolish as to listen to something THIS scary while alone. It really is a cut above. The Dark Watcher one really made me terrified and while i hate it, i love it. If you want ACTUAL scares, this is it.
