This is one of my favorite fiction podcasts. The production team does a great job and you can really tell it was produced by people that know what they’re doing. As far as the content goes, the storyline is captivating and really grabs your attention. The actors and actresses are very convincing as well. I find myself looking forward to each new episode every week!

I’ve just discovered audio dramas in the podcast app and love it! Bunker 8 was the fourth or fifth series I’ve listened to. The concept is interesting, but I think the author could improve the writing by showing his audience emotions, suspense, thoughts, etc. instead of directly telling the listener. Also, varying adjectives and word choices would improve things. Profanity is overused and seems like a lazy way to express emotions. God’s name and Jesus’ name are heavily used as profanity.

Interesting and at times captivating story. Sound design is nice and immersive. But the amount of ads + intros compared to the length of each episode seems excessive.
Especially if listening while working, when you’re not able to fast forward. Each episode seems to be about 20 mins and it seems that about 7 minutes of that is just ads and intros. Especially since there is an ad break in the middle it makes it almost not worth listening.

At first, I only fell in love with this podcast because I absolutely love Aussie men and their strong accents. But as I gotten through the episodes, I found to love the story Jack was telling. I work night shift, and I went through the first season in a week. With that being said, I was sad when the last episode left on a cliff hanger… then I checked back to an unexpected upcoming season2! Im really excited to listen to this episode later tonight. I bet it’s going to have me on edge!
