Disappointed and demoralized Democrat here. After the election I couldn’t do the news anymore but Sarah, JVL, Tim, Sam and the rest have kept me sane. Their takes are honest, intelligent, and empathetic but mostly they are just logical and common sense. Makes me feel like I’m less on an island than I feel in my party sometimes. I love these short takes and this is the first place I go to get a response to the next bonkers thing that happens. I know some say it’s too much all the time, but I like knowing it’s there and choosing when to listen. Sometimes I want to rage along with you!

I love all The Bulwark shows, but really appreciate this show for its immediacy and brevity. Perfect!

This podcast is a great way to keep up with what is happening in the news, in short segments, that provide just enough detail to gain truly valuable insights. Keep up the great work!

Listening to Tim’s response to the 4/6/25 60 Minutes report on the Disappeared is quite literally why I listen to the Bulwark more than any other political podcast. Tim, Sam, Sarah, and JVL put their hearts on their sleeves, and personally I need that. I need to know that others are feeling what I’m feeling. This is essential listening.
