I’m in love with this podcast! Bodies arrived in my life at a time that I really needed it. For the past three years, I have been learning about the many chronic illness I live with. The very first episode of Bodies is about vulvodynia and helped me realize I have vulvodynia too. Something I realized from my own experiences with chronic illnesses is that the more I am honest about my chronic illnesses, the more family and friends are honest about their own bodies too. Bodies podcast has this same beautiful effect. It is so refreshing to listen to people talk about the parts of their bodies that make them feel alone, and in listening, realize you are not so alone yourself.

Each episode of Bodies feels like a little audio poem that takes you to a different corner of the galaxy. It feels like a very special and intimate corner of the internet. Great Facebook group too!

I felt seen almost immediately. I felt invited to be present not only with the host but with myself. I have experienced issues with painful sex and have recently been using birth control to help with PMDD and I didn’t realize. The silence, the gaping hole in the conversation is all of the horrible side effects I could potentially experience.
