There’s shockingly little content out there on the Eastern Front - way way out of proportion with its impact on the world. It’s great to have a podcast like this out there in English, and I really appreciate that it covers more than just Stalingrad and Kursk. Also, the creator’s father in law’s was in the Red Army during Barbarossa and after as a partisan, which adds a fascinating personal element to the podcast (he’s also written some books on his experience, which I plan to check out). Definitely recommended for anyone with an interest in the subject.

Great balance of important factual details and statistics within an overview of the campaign that is both interesting and easy to follow.
The way firsthand accounts are interwoven really adds perspective, and the guest interviews have been really good!

The topic is interesting and the content is both informative and detailed. I’ve really enjoyed the first ten episodes I’ve listened to so far and I will definitely consume all of it.
I find the accompanying bumper music as weird and disruptive. I’d prefer if it had been left out entirely.

Great podcast. Not as polished as I’m used to but no big deal. Sometimes the music is annoying and goes on way too long but apparently it’s a relative composing it so I understand. It’s August, 2025 and I’m starting at the beginning. They are definitely of a nice, easily digestible length. Bravo, Mr. Bury!
