Being Human with Steve Cuss - Podcast Rankings and reviews

My friend told me about your podcast last summer and I have slowly and methodically listened to each one. The vast wealth of applicable information and your faithfulness to both science and the word of God are intriguing and unique to “podcastland”. The conversations give words to many thoughts I have not been sure how to articulate to people in my own close relationships and you have helped me immensely. I recommend your podcast constantly! I enjoy the movie/show reviews because they bring practical application to your teaching. I would love to hear you review the show Parenthood.

When I first started listening to the podcast and heard Steve Cuss say that remaining emotionally connected in the middle of conflict was possible I didn’t really believe him. My safe response was to emotionally disconnect from everyone. I prided myself on being really good at it! But as I have listened and learned I now know that it is possible to stay emotionally connected no matter what situation comes my way! POSSIBLE - even though I often fail. I’ve done a deep dive into his books and every other podcast he has appeared on. He speaks in a way that is relatable and easy to understand. I’m a different person. His books and this podcast have been a tool God has used to grow a non-anxious presence in me. I’m forever grateful.

With a Biblical and Christ centered lense, Steve facilitates an incredible atmosphere to listen and learn- to be challenged and encouraged. I leave each podcast with something very tangible to ponder- do- or explore more. I’m so grateful to have found “being human” podcast.

I cannot tell you how much this podcast has helped me over the past few months. I so very badly want to cling to Christ, but I’m finding it very difficult right now. Being able to think through my obstacles to relationship with others, myself, and God has been so helpful. And realizing this is part of being human has made me feel like less of a failure. Thank you, Steve. Keep up the God-honoring work.
