BAD WORDS - Podcast Rankings and reviews

This podcast is just fantastic. Each episode contains such a wealth of wisdom, insight, humor, and hate reading. I binged the whole season in like 2 days. Janice and her guests just expose this dumb theology for what it is and they unearthed things for me that I had never thought of before. I had never actually read this book, but each chapter and episode revealed that this book infiltrated the systems I came out of, and the quite honestly this dumb theology had me trapped for a long time. Hearing it debunked was healing and somehow fun at the same time. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I just moved, so I’m spending a lot of time cleaning and unpacking this week and I’m binge listening to this podcast. It’s so enlightening and freeing to identify the twisted truths that have defined my life. Although, I’ve never been to any Hillsong church and was actually raised to believe they were evil due to using drums in their worship music, so many of the teachings highlighted in this podcast were hammered into me. This podcast is healing and makes me laugh in the process. Thank you, Janice and company!

...even though it’s so triggering! I grew up being “encouraged” into submission to local church authority by JBs books and I’m finding a lot of healing through this podcast. The host and guests are real, raw and funny.

This is one of the podcasts I look forward to every week. It’s so funny and triggering at the same time (Janice isn’t triggering, JB - the subject being criticized and Christianity is triggering haha).
