I’ve followed Mike Busch for over 20 years now. This truly is the peak of his career as an educator of all things aviation. The first podcast with George Braly is enlightening and is a deep dive into George’s career highlighting his accomplishments such as Gamijectors, Tornado alley, and G100UL. It is a great look into how much effort was required to accomplish the things George did that has benefitted aviation so greatly. This new podcast is off to a great start and I’m looking forward to what’s next! Great job Mike!!

Truly a spectacular dive into the birth and backstory of GAMI injectors, Tornado Alley Turbo systems and the 100UL program efforts. Those still flying rich of peak fuel mixtures should give this a look to reconsider their ops. For 22 years GAMI injectors have allowed me to fly my B55 Baron at 20-23gph mixtures enabling me to complete an 800nm trip at 10-11K’ altitudes non-stop with 22-32 gallons remaining in the tanks.

The discussion was fascinating and am looking forward to more episodes with Mike and George (and others). I was privileged to take GAMI’s Advanced Engine Management Course in Ada. It was fantastic. I have also heard both Mike and George at Oshkosh. Both are making great contributions to piston general aviation.

Great podcast, all of Mike’s are! I knew who George was but had no idea of his background. A great synopsis of his 45+ years in the biz, his “aha” moment and his challenges bringing his vision to market. Kinda enjoyed his family coming and going in the background too!
