Brian is super fun to talk with about all things Phish! I had a great time on the show and would recommend subscribing to this podcast and, or telling one of your favorite stories to add to the growing list of excellent episodes!
Top notch production and content. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact check section at the end of the episode.

Brian does a great job sharing his enthusiasm for the band and setting his guests up to shine and share great memories they have of shows and specific songs. The episodes can’t come fast enough. Even the most knowledgeable of Phish fans will learn something from these episodes.

Although I found this show only a year or so ago, I quickly got hooked. For anyone that wants to hear the story behind the show, or even gain new perspective on classics we all know, this is perfect. With guests that include everyone from “Phish Famous” folks to the ordinary fan, Brian is doing amazing things to record and preserve the oral history of the phenomenon that is Phish.

In you’re 12/29/97 episode (best show ever!) you stated that there was no gag at New Year’s 97 beyond Trey talking about the utterball during 12/30’s Harpua.
There, in fact, was an inverted dome, or egg, hanging from the ceiling projecting images throughout the first two sets, including the utterball, olive loaf, and other objects from the Harpua story. At midnight, the egg “hatched” and balloons came out.
You can see the egg hatching in a scene from ‘Bittersweet Motel’.
