I really enjoy this podcast—it’s a good mix of detailed presentation, interviews, and analysis. Further, the podcast is very respectful of victims and their families to a degree that far exceeds many current true crime shows.

I’m listening to the first season after hearing about it from The Opportunist podcast. Very interesting topic with great research. I just don’t like the music. It’s distracting in the background and goes on far too long in between segments. I find myself fast forwarding to get through it. If I wanted music, I would listen to a soundtrack. Otherwise, keep up the great work!

…. But I found it hard to get a visual on the whole story because the hosts went out of order and included a lot of random tangents. Otherwise it was fascinating! You can tell that the journalists worked really hard on these stories and had a high level of journalistic integrity especially when dealing with sensitive information. Also appreciated the atmospheric effects. Definitely worth listening to especially the first and second seasons. I would love to hear any updates on those cases!

The story is horrific, but the podcast is very well done. Respectful to the girls and their families. I had a hard time turning it off and couldn’t wait to get back to it.

The story would have been very interesting, but it needed to be told in order instead of “you’ll hear that later on”. It may also be that I like a more neutral journalistic approach to stories like this and the reports sounded like they were having a conversation with friends. Also the music is distracting and unnecessary.
