I love this podcast so much and absolutely adore the morals and ethics of Ethan and Kona. Among the MASS of true crime podcasts that trivialize or neutralize these cases, it is so refreshing to hear how the hosts take care of these cases and investigate deeply. Thank you for calling out on police incompetence, police violence, misogyny, transphobia, and racism in the justice system. It feels so dystopian and unreal that somehow talking about those subjects can make some people offended or leave negative reviews. You guys are doing amazing work and discussing these cases in an intersectional way that is crucial for our understanding of true crime and the justice system. Please keep up the good work—you guys feel like my cool parents when I listen to you at work.

The research is thorough, perspectives are meaningful, and it’s clear how much care Kona and Ethan put into every episode. The “banter” keeps this harsh topic palatable and easier for listeners to consume. Thank you both for the work you do, and for giving these missing people and their families a voice.

The cases are well researched, there is very little unnecessary, off-topic banter, and they cover more cases featuring BIPOC people. Ads help keep content free, so they don’t bother me.

Long time listener here. Content is still good quality but as others have said, the increase in ads lately is pretty profound. Ad segments are 5 min long with 3-4 segments per episode.

I’m a longtime listener (since the beginning) and this was one of my favorite podcasts, but in recent days they’ve increased their ads so much that it’s not even worth listening to them anymore. There are many other podcasts that I listen to, ones that are more successful and ones that are less successful than this show, and NONE of them have anywhere near the amount of ads ATTWG does. Not sure if they are trying to pressure people to pay for their Patreon or what, but I’m done.

Nothing new is added to the stories.
I understand we should speak their name and remember them, but this podcast doesn’t feel like it. It just regurgitates. Find an angle and add something useful, otherwise it’s just making money off the victims.
Stephanie Harlowe , MFM, True Crime Garage, TC Brewery are good examples where something is added to ‘old’ stories. Deep dive, a new perspectives. Valuing the victim.
