I love the format of this podcast. Listener driven topics make for great variety and the good natured, well-balanced approach to the topic taken by Bob and his expert guests feels like a great conversation over a cup of coffee with well-informed friends. It’s easy to learn something new, discover a new perspective, and just be entertained when I listen!

So glad to have found this podcast! I’m enjoying hearing interesting topics explained in an interesting way. Bob Crawford and his guests provide amazing context to American History. I’m in the process of binging all the episodes and am happy I cottoned on to the podcast relatively early!

I am so glad I found this podcast! I love all things American history and am constantly wanting to learn more. Bob brings in some very knowledgeable and interesting guests to tackle these listener questions. This quickly became one of my new favorite podcasts to listen to so I’m really looking forward to more episodes!!

I stumbled upon this podcast and am glad I did. The episodes have been well-done and illuminating. The “storylike” format is engaging.
But … I truly understand the need for sponsorships to fund a podcast. This one, however, had no less than 7 advertisements before the real presentation began. That is just too many for me to not risk wandering off.
I am grateful to have been introduced to his guests and recently purchased a book based upon the discussion with Julian Zelizer.
