I have listened to more true crime podcasts than I can count and have heard of many cases where true injustices have been perpetrated, innocent people wrongfully charged and convicted, or where evidence is lost or mishandled due to to police misconduct. This is NOT one of them! Of all of the cases that deserve the attention of the public, I am at a loss as to why this journalist is so invested in proving that three grown and intoxicated men who brought into the house of a terrified 19-year-old kid should be viewed as blameless here. I don’t condone killing, but none of these men are remotely sympathetic. I see evidence that this was anything but self-defense. Had the prosecutor tried to charge the kid, there is no way he would have been found guilty. Resources should really be devoted elsewhere, not rehashing this matter.
