In southern baptist life and graduated from a Southern Baptist seminary, I left feeling encouraged. When I graduated seminary I found there was no place for me in Southern Baptist ministry and ended up finding my own path to ministry instead. But listening to this made me feel like maybe there is still a place for me there, and I feel inspired by the women who have gone before me.

This podcast is incredible! It has done the work of revealing the lies and secrets of what has been happening in the SBC. I’m thankful for both Beth and Savannah for sharing all of the research, shining a light in the darkness, and sharing the truth and stories of many, many women.

Beth and Savannah do an excellent job at exploring the documents and information they found within the archives of the SBC. Bringing light to the stories of these women long forgotten and buried.

So well researched and such important work. I’m so thankful for Beth Allison Barr and Savannah Locke for putting this together and for telling the stories of so many women the church tried to silence. As a girl growing up in Southern Baptist churches, who has spent a lot of time deconstructing, this was so healing to her. Thank you.
