The podcast is a great companion to the series. I love how it fits into the storyline, introducing all the characters while also advancing to reveal potential developments. As a long-time fan of the Alien series, I'm really enjoying this adaptation. It's one of the best so far, expanding the universe in many ways and tying together all the great characters and storylines. I believe this series has a good chance of lasting multiple seasons because it has plenty of room to develop the world further. One thing I especially appreciate is how it makes me value the prequel stories more and shows the potential for this universe to evolve.

This is an outstanding compliment to the series, an intelligent and curious host who doesn’t try to take center stage, who asks for clarification on many of the story elements like a regular viewer would who’s simply a fan of the show. I came away from the first podcast with not only a greater understanding of many of the subtler aspects of Alien Earth, but also with an even greater sense of respect for what Noah Hawley was able to successfully accomplish. Going into this series my expectations were enormously high because of what Hawley had already accomplished with each successive season of Fargo, he did not let me down, as someone old enough and lucky enough to have seen the original Alien in a 70 mm advance screening, I haven’t been this excited about the potential for Alien World-building since the sequel Aliens which I saw on opening night.

Intelligent and timely and faithful to the ALIENverse. After James Cameron’s ALIENS blew my doors off with a war film, I really wanted the backstory of how the evil corporate oligarchs THE COMPANY. Maybe it was my hitch in The Navy that turned me into a cynic but the real big bad monster can be humanity. Noah Hawley’s adaptation on HULU and FX has created more questions than answers for me - and I love it!
