Jane has been one of my favorite newscasters, anchors and public speakers since she started working in DFW many years ago. My educational colleagues and I would always talk about how naturally beautiful and classy she was as well as, and more importantly, how talented she was. Jane was trailblazing the road for women in the male-dominated professional world of on television journalism in a time when it was needed and showing women how one could be a full-time professional while being a wife and mother! Jane, your specials were very informative and interesting, but most importantly you spoke and related to anyone who watched and listened. Moreover, you always kept up with each decade relating to the young generations as well as the older generations. Once again, you are showing up on another platform that is on target in the 21st century of journalism!
