I absolutely loved this podcast and binged every episode after knee surgery. Justin does a phenomenal job, deep-diving into each album with his unique perspective as a much younger (than typical) fan. I’ve been a fan since I was the same age he was when JB played in his parents house, only much longer! My intro happened in the back seat of the family car when DME came on and I thought “this is my music”. Thanks to Justin for this very fine podcast.

As a fellow Millennial, I appreciated connecting with Justin — and more deeply with the music of Jackson Browne — through this podcast. It takes on a similar vibe as a Jackson Browne song — intimate, personal, in-depth, introspective — to the extent that you can't help but feel a personal connection to the host, his guests, and Jackson Browne. This podcast reminds me that being a JB fan is a special thing. And it's wonderful to share in these conversations about these albums I love so much.
But I appreciate that it's not all appreciation — there's real critical analysis here that gives the podcast its weight, and makes it go beyond mere praise. I appreciate that Justin frames up many episodes by reading a Rolling Stone review. And I mention the Millennial-ness because it's uncommon to meet die-hard JB fans in our generation — but this podcast reminds me that we're out there. It reminds me that JB is one of the greatest songwriters of his generation, but he's for all of us. Thank you Justin, and thank you everyone who's participated in this.

I have really enjoyed taking a deep dive into the work of one of my favorites, Bright Eyes. I appreciate that this podcast keeps it classy and avoids all the gossipy junk that gets associated with Oberst. Also, I like the music snippets! Some of the songs I hadn’t heard, so it was nice to have the context built in without having to pause and go find the song. Thanks, Justin! I’ll be listening to the Jackson Browne next!

The versatility Justin shows on this Podcast is spectacular and creative on his part. The similarities between Jackson Brown and Laura Jane Grace seem miles apart unless you’re a huge fan of both of them like me. In that case, doing separate seasons on both of them makes perfect sense. The AM! season was one of the best things I’ve seen or listened to in a long time. The guests were up to date on Laura Jane Grace and Against Me! and literally experts on the album they were covering as was Justin. The final episode with Laura was the best! Laura was so open and honest about everything and I wanted to be in that conversation so badly. Looking forward to see what Justin comes up with for season four!
