I picked up Dara Horn’s book “People Love Dead Jews” and could not put it down. She is brilliant in reassessing how we talk and teach about Jews, anti-Semitism, and the Holocaust. Totally transformed how I thought about all of this. So naturally I wanted more Dara Horn and got it in this fabulously entertaining and interesting Podcast. My only complaint is there are not enough episodes!

Dara Horn knows how to tell a story and she’s clearly done her homework. As the title suggests, many of these episodes tell painful and heartbreaking tales of antisemitism throughout history, but she backs her interpretations with evidence and had me fully engaged from the first show. In addition, if you want more you can go directly to her book, “People Love Dead Jews,” as she tells completely different (and equally compelling) stories there.

One of my favorite podcasts. I love the way she delivers information. She acknowledges the humor inherit in history while giving these stories a context I haven’t heard anyone else do.

Not many authors can take their impeccable writing skills and translate those to verbal narration. Dara Horn harnesses these skills for the benefit of all who are willing to listen.
