Just started listening to 5CAST and I am really enjoying Andrew’s presentation. He methodically breaks down complex topics and builds a case with objective evidence. He then delivers the information in a very engaging and entertaining dialogue.

The most exceptional and necessary thing about this program is its amazing journalism on indigenous issues in the US. They do a lot of great reporting, but by far their focus on major indigenous conflicts between nations and the US government is something you don’t get anywhere else.

Jumped on getting this podcast as soon as Andrew mentioned it on the YouTube version. Always appreciate listening to stories, issues and views not presented in mainstream media. Do I like the people in every story? No. Do I absolutely think everyone should have a well rounded outlook on various perspectives a story whether you agree or not instead of fragments of a story? Heck yeah. Even news topics that I’m vehemently against that Channel 5 has done, I still leave better educated about the topic than I was before and can better articulate why I agree or disagree more confidently because of how well the Channel 5 team and Andrew presents the reporting, and I better understand nuances in them that the mainstream news misses because they don’t focus on the people on the streets like Channel 5, but the people in the offices.
Can’t wait to listen to the stories and news the Channel 5 team brings here! Good luck to the whole team!
P.S.- Don’t forget they have foreign correspondents if you watch news in something other than English!

Andrew does the best job at presenting news and stories in a way that touches all the facts and lets you think your own things about it. He gives factual context and is culturally seasoned. I respect his reporting because he places himself directly in the story he is covering. His patreon shows the extent of their work and is worth your time!
