I wish every LDS woman would listen to this. I left the church a few years ago for various reasons. I was a convert at 20 and was all in for 27 years. There was so much I didn’t know. Thank you for doing all the work and I really really enjoyed this podcast. It has validated much of how I felt for so many years and it’s so appreciated.

This podcast blows my mind (I’ve listened to well over 100 episodes so far). Not only is it relevant to me personally as a Mormon with polygamous ancestors, but Lindsay’s and her guests’ research and stories are thorough and powerful.

A fascinating and engaging podcast. I’m listening in order and finding it all very educational, insightful and accompanied with lots of suggested reading which is always nice. My only complaint and advice: Please stop the dramatic readers. They are just terrible and listening to their stumbling and stale dramatizations of these women’s journals is so jarring & off putting. It’s much like I’m sitting in a dull community theater play. It’s really insufferable. I much prefer when she reads them herself. I hope, hope she soon drops this aspect of the podcast.

It took me months to finish the first 100 episodes about church history of polygamy. This podcast changed my life. There often were times where technology got in the way of learning some things but Lindsey is amazing and you could tell she learned how to edit better throughout the podcast. I can’t wait to start listening to the rest of her research on here.
