World News Tonight with David Muir - Podcast Rankings and reviews

I don’t have or want cable which is why I was pumped to still have access to my preferred news program through podcast. However it is inconsistently updated. Right now there hasn’t been an update since Friday’s episode. It is Monday morning and nothing...that’s monstrously disappointing especially in a global pandemic where the news is an important source of information.

ABC National News has too many commercials and not enough substance to their stories. The stories are hyped to appear after a commercial; the story is extremely brief with no substance and then there is a break to a commercial. I have changed channels after being a loyal viewer for many decades.

I love the factual news reporting with very minimal bias, and enjoy listening to this to keep me up to date. However, they don’t do a great job of keeping the posts up to date, especially on weekends. It isn’t unusual for a Saturday or Sunday post to be missing, and tonight’s posting (March 1, 2020) was actually from February 14, 2012! Don’t get me wrong, it was VERY interesting to hear, and I would actually be interested in a podcast with news from years past, but I think they could do a better job of keeping this one up to date. Overall, though, I very much enjoy getting my news from this source. Succinct and informative!

News the way it used to be - just the facts of the stories delivered by a credible anchor. Always ends on a positive note. Love David Muir on TV and am grateful to have this podcast when I’m on the road.

Love the content and podcast but can’t stand how the episodes take 2-3 days to update at times. “Start Here” has taken over my #1 news podcast due to reliability.

I loved listening to ABC World News Tonight w/ David Muir, operative word being “LOVED”. (past tense, for those of you literarily challenged)
Issue is, episodes are RANDOMLY uploaded. It’s like crap shoot, is this a good week.... or a bad week.
Now, I’ve started to listen to NBC Nightly News w/ Lester Holt. Much more reliable.
