I can’t believe I just only discovered Vulgar History this year. It ticks so many of my boxes. Feminist. Women’s history. Comedy. Yes, all of the above, please! The research is top-notch. The stories are riveting. I love this show!

As a historian I’m picky about which history podcasts I listen to. They have to be accurate but still entertaining. Ann manages to do both superbly well. If you like drunk history, sarcasm, and problematic faves then I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Entertaining and eye-opening to hear about history through women
