I really want to like Verdict with Ted Cruz—the show does present some fantastic information and insightful commentary. Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson offer a unique perspective on politics and current events that I find informative and thought-provoking. However, the experience is seriously marred by the excessive number of commercials throughout the program.

It's incredibly frustrating to start the podcast, only to be hit with almost three minutes—THREE MINUTES—of ads before the show even begins. And it's not just at the start; the frequent interruptions with long commercial breaks make it virtually impossible to listen to the program without constantly being pulled out of the discussion.

I understand the need for sponsorships, but the sheer volume of ads feels over the top. I think this could be an exceptional podcast if the ad time was reduced. Until then, it's tough to stay engaged when you're spending so much time waiting for the content to resume.

Ted and Ben do a tremendous job highlighting the biggest pieces of news out there three times a week and commentating on it in a way that is easily digestible for listeners and with a common sense approach that certainly appeals to broad audiences, including myself and independent listener that leans Republican, but doesn’t always vote that way. Ben asks Ted great questions about the subject at hand and it is always fascinating to hear Ted’s well articulated in depth responses. I also enjoy the way that they have structured these podcasts where in a short 30 to 35 minute timeframe, they will cover the most important two news topics and usually a great bit of fun drama in the media at the end. I would love to see this expand to a full hour although I know that’s probably a lot to ask for Ted Cruz And we greatly need his time and focus on the Senate floor, I appreciate him taking the time to deliberately talk to America three times a week in this very enlightening and highly recommend it to all areas of the political spectrum.

The topics discussed and the information Cruz provides is important, but the show has lost its luster to the point I have mostly stopped listening. Over time, the ads have become way too much. In the latest episode: BRAZIL BANS X, 4 of the first 6 minutes were ads. In comparison, the longest ad break I’ve ever had on every other podcast is about 90 seconds. It’s simply ridiculous. Although I do like Ferguson, I miss Knowles. He just seems to control the flow of the conversation better. Asking a question and just letting Cruz talk. Ferguson interrupts Cruz way too much. So many times, Cruz is going on a great rant with juicy info and Ferguson will chime in for no reason to finish his sentence or ask another question.

Love the honest, forthright insight from Senator Cruz. Only negative is the excessive amount of ads. You could endure the often excess of 5 minutes on the front end but the amount and length of the ads throughout almost make it impossible to listen.

Earn those sponsorship dollars, by all means! But dang, couldn’t you dial it back a little?

The content is pretty good when they are actually talking, but it seems like ads take up at least 2/3 of the shows time. Starts with ads, do the intro, more ads, talk a few minutes, more ads, and on and on and on. It’s been getting worse. I’m done listening to it.

I really like the content of this podcast. I enjoy hearing Cruz’s perspective (although like any politician he is very self-aggrandizing), but the amount of ads continue to increase. I do not have the time to do this but I would suspect if you timed the content and the ads, there might be more ads than content. I never post reviews but I am posting this one in the hopes that after seeing just how many of us who enjoy the content can no longer tolerate the ads, they will make a change. I understand they need to generate money, but this is getting out of hand.
