went into all the information gathering, interviews, etc., to make this an intriguing and very interesting listen.
Almost 30 years forward, I found it especially interesting what a BIG challenge it presented to revisit the “memories” of those involved.
Your interview with the expert who explained about how ‘memory’ works was especially interesting.
Your dogged dedication to searching for the “truth” was admirable! 👏👏👏
Thanks for all your hard work and the beauty that it reaped in the lives of this family❣️

Holy cow I don't understand the anger and vitriol around this podcast! It's very well done. It's extraordinarily researched. Maybe because it didn't go the way you wanted it to go? Give the hosts, producers, consultants a break! I kept waiting for it to get bad considering the weird reviews. And it never did. So we may never know. I think it was fascinating and there were many reasons to look into the life of this person. I am quite frankly delighted that I found it.

I feel like it’s an interesting setup. Could have been better presented. With no narration, it’s just a little flat. Even minimal narration to set the scene can go a long way. Some of the phone recordings are utterly incoherent. I want it to get better, but from the other reviews, I don’t have high hopes. Good luck to the producers - I hope this was a good learning experience!

Sue Knight was a complicated woman with a difficult past she was trying to out run. It is completely unethical to then take her death and turn it into a complete spectacle without any evidence. Steve is a completely unreliable “witness” as he gets everything wrong about her. Yet, hours are wasted talking to this guy, taking his story and creating ridiculous narratives without any sort of proof. It’s unprofessional and disgusting how the producers and hosts spin wild ideas about Sue for entire episodes. I can’t believe this reckless and irresponsible podcast was allowed to be made. Sue and her family deserve more respect than this.

Not sure why this was even made. The “mystery” mostly seems to be gossip and hearsay. The most logical conclusion seems mental illness and loneliness, along with familial estrangement. In which case, this seems incredibly exploitative or at least, super insensitive. It feels like someone REALLY wanted to make a murder mystery podcast even if the case didn’t warrant it. The giggly producers discussing the private nuances of Susan’s life made me cringe. I stopped after seven episodes.
