This is an informative and intelligent podcast from which I always learn something. I'm excited that NPR is now expanding it to include election coverage. Go NPR!

It would be a really great to have a nerdy podcast focused on the legal (and sometimes political) status of all the Trump litigation. Maybe even branch out to other political litigation (prosecution of elected officials and election litigation). With lawyers or other legal analysts going into detail. However, this is not that podcast.
Unfortunately, this podcast is more often quick takes that you've probably already heard in other news, with maybe a minute of deeper detail. And it is really coming from the perspective of a news reporter, not a legal analyst.

While I like that NPR is doing a show dedicated to these trials, please make more of an effort to be nonpartisan. Having a guest comment that she’s “rethinking her life choices” because Ron DeSantis agrees with her on a legal point is not a good look, nor what drew me to this podcast. I think the public want more of the legal explanations and nuances behind these trials rather than hearing one side’s repeatedly characterized as “dumb.” Make that one improvement, and this is a slam dunk.
