So glad that I found this podcast. I was struggling while learning Mandarin Chinese but now I’m almost completely fluent and have reached 汉语水平考试 (HSK) level 5 through their help. Would recommend for any learner, new or old!

When Rone was signing off today, he mentioned that this Yak recap could potentially become just another new episode each week. Well, I’m here to tell you that, however you all want to give us more YAK! I will gladly consume it all. Downright hilarious cast of characters who never fail to make any conversation humorous. Hats off to you fellas, keep it up.

I listen every day at work, but feel like I’m not giving my 100% attention if I get distracted. Now I can listen anytime, anywhere and give it my 150%. Love these guys so much - excited to hear some extras. I want more vibes, more lunch, more yankee swaps, and more stories about nicks super straight dad. Great crew and even greater podcast.

The show is so much better without Big Cat. He rarely provides anything original, he just repeats Nick and his post laugh sigh that he does 50 times an episode is nails on the chalkboard. When he is out the show is so much more laid back and funny. The old man trying to fit in with the funny young guys is not an act that works.
