It’s the best Spurs pod. Danny and James are proper fans, Charlie/Jack/Tim are outstanding journalists. The only place to go for proper Spurs insight from people that have true knowledge about the club, both past and present. Great characters and personalities too.

As a new American Spurs supporter circa the 18/19 run, I was delighted to find so many podcasts linked to my new favorite team. I tried most and kept my favorite three. The View from the Lane scratches my “club culture” itch. While there is undoubtedly good reporting of current events done by this team, for me the real value lies in hearing stories of the gloried past. While I’ll never beat James in a quiz format, I do feel that I have greatly enhanced my knowledge of club history through the mostly biweekly shows. I also appreciate the mix of views from a team of reporters as well as fans. I enjoy the good natured banter and yes, at times, the self-congratulatory remarks. A special shout to Danny’s vocabulary - I've managed to work some of the choice phrases into my daily lexicon. The release schedule for an EST audience is very convenient. I must be among the first to consume each episode, “dropping” as they tend to do right at lunch time in the eastern US. Thank you Danny, Jack, Charlie, Tim, James and the Arsenal-supporting producer!

Great podcast, love the blend of host and rotating guests. Love the energy, knowledge, and humor. Danny Kelly is really appreciated … a dose of genuine Spurs fandom/knowledge that is at odds with the typical Twitter/Guardian/Athletic fare ...

If you’re a Spurs supporter, this podcast is a must listen. I enjoy the chemistry and camaraderie between the panel members. It is an excellent supplement to my subscription to The Athletic and really helps me feel like part of the Spurs community all the way over here in Minnesota.

I’ve been a huge fan of this podcast for years but the last few months I’m struggling to make it through any episodes after a loss. This week is the perfect example. Danny mopes and whines throughout the episode while the other two constantly try to cheer him up. I want to hear expert analysis on the Spurs not a fan complaining he’s not getting his manager change! Be better.
