I absolutely love this show. It’s so thorough and great. However, I was just listening to a heartfelt story of a mom who lost her son and it was cut off right in the middle for ads. This feels insensitive. I understand the need for ads, but the team needs to work on the timing. Honor the people sharing heartfelt stories and the listeners by not playing a random add for clothes midway through such sensitive stories. This didn’t happen in previous seasons fyi. I hope the tech team sees this and improves.

This is nothing but a new form of facilitated communication which has been shown to be fake. Sadly, this is only harming families and autistic individuals as most ‘communication’ partners are subconsciously eliciting the communication and autistic individuals are having thoughts attributed to them.

The ideomotor effect is obvious in the tapes. The ideomotor effect is well-established in facilitated communication. Save your money and just look up the term. By the way, it’s unethical to charge people to view the research! The way the experiments are described in the podcast is very misleading. Telepathy may exist but this reporter has done a grave disservice to this topic and especially to the families, whom she is exploiting. If she truly believes in the veracity of her reporting she would have scientists on to employ some basic critical thinking and counterpoints. Even a psych 101 student can point out the obvious flaws of these experiments.
