I recommend TSL to friends, family, and my critique partners, and it’s amazing to hear lightbulbs going off. I am a career writer, but screenwriting is a very specific art that 30 years of learning other mediums couldn’t teach me. So when I embarked on learning to write for film, I was blown away to discover this podcast. Meg and Lorien (and Jeff!) are so incredibly generous with their hard-earned knowledge of the industry. Their deep experience as writers of some of the most soul-stirring films out there is a goldmine for those who are ready to do the hard work of becoming great screenwriters. And they teach with humor, humility, and honesty. I can’t recommend this podcast highly enough. On a scale of one to five, I give it an eleven.
