Thank you, Lewis for hosting retired Secret Service Agent Evy Poumpouras. I didn’t even wait until the end of the episode to order Evy’s book. This was one of the best hours I’ve spent recently listening to a podcast. I learned such a great deal from Evy that I can immediately apply to relationships in my life. I truly appreciate the time you both spent to sit down, discuss & document this for your listeners. I have this episode bookmarked & saved because I know I will re-listen and reference it again in the future.

Listen up because I’m about to explain exactly what scheme this guy is running. I’m gonna warn you it’s long but it all comes full circle, TRUST ME. I play a mobile game called The Battle Cats. Many mobile games nowadays have a digital currency that is used within the game for various things, such as new characters/skins/guns etc. Depending on the game, it can be somewhat difficult to obtain without buying it. This is by design to either keep you playing and/or spend money to just buy it. However, many games have come up with an “offer” system where you can earn the digital currency by doing things outside of the game. In the section of the games where you go to buy the digital currency, it will have an “offers” section. These offers consist of many various tasks you can complete, and the entire system that gives you these offers is organized by Unity, which is a game development conglomerate known for making their own mobile games, which are usually pay-to-win/filled with ads. It’s literally called Unity Rewards. Like I said, these offers consist of various things and can range from small to big rewards in whatever mobile game you are playing. For example, you can download some other mobile game and reach a certain level/status in order to receive a reward in the game you actually accepted the offer from. Other examples include quick internet surveys or signing up for a service. Essentially, people will pay Unity to put their mobile game/service/survey in their rewards system in order to get people to engage with their product, and then Unity splits the money with whichever mobile games decide to participate and put these offers in their game. It’s basically a crazy business scheme that allows for the game developers to still make money off players that aren’t actually spending any money, with all of it being middle-manned by Unity. I kid you not, one of the offers I got on Battle Cats was to follow this guy’s podcast. The offer was for 6 of the digital currency (cat food) in exchange for following this podcast. He is paying for follows in such a shady way, it almost feels illegal and definitely warrants action from Apple. I never heard of this guy before clicking the offer, so I just thought this crazy scheme should be brought to the attention of any followers this guy genuinely has.

I hope I can come back to update at a later time but for now I’m so disappointed to say I honestly can’t give more than 2 stars due to the fact there’s no basic introduction to your guests or simple acknowledgements to your listening audience. It feels like a scripted private conversation. In the middle of 2 men speaking suddenly a female voice comes on & listeners have no clue who the voice/opinion belongs to. Ultimately, not showing your listeners and respect for their time..
