Not only is Pat a good storyteller and interviewer, but the chemistry the whole team has together will have you laughing constantly throughout the show. This show is a great mental vacation.

Pat brings it every episode. This podcast is entertaining, hilarious and you learn something from the great conversations. I tuned in to listen to the sports talk but I could listen to these guys talk about a wide variety of topics. Love seeing Pat on the sidelines and on College Gameday. Next stop, Monday Night Football!

Can’t get enough of McAfee and Hawk Sport Talk to.

I listen to several weekly podcasts and this one is honestly the only one that I wish was 7 days a week. I drive truck and find myself replaying old episodes and they always put a huge smile on my face and make the long miles seem short. Thanks a ton guys, awesome show, absolutely love it!

For any sub par pre-med student such as myself who are looking for a way to push through and somehow make it happen, look no further. You don’t need a motivational/educational podcast to “re-ignite the flame” and “give you the passion”. You already have this flame/passion, what you need is a mental vacation provided by The Pat Mcafee Show/The Pod. Use it as a break while driving or during workouts or between studies. Laugh a little, you deserve it. Keep chasing the dream. It took years but I am finally making mine a reality, and you can too. Pat is a master-class wordsmith and can motivate you to, at the very least, keep trying. I owe a lot to him and his crew, more than they will ever know. Do yourself a favor and try it out, you won’t regret it.

I’ve been listening since the original Pat McAfee show debut and this show has taken a turn for the worse. I get that he’s pretty busy so it only makes sense to cut clips from the radio show but good grief it feels like no effort goes into the podcast anymore. It’s just generic sports talk with 15 ad breaks. The ads (which i typically skip) are incredibly cringey with him clearly laying bed stoned out of his mind. The Tuesday/Thursday/Friday schedule makes him late on every story so it just seems like he’s last on every take now. The Friday show itself should just be cancelled, it’s so half-assed it’s worth a skip every time. Heartland radio 2.0 has been incredible since the beginning and they continue to do well. Hope Pats show can turn it around but as for now I’m not listening anymore.

I’ve been a fan of Pat and the crew for years. Since Pat started his radio show and joined ESPN, the show lost the originality that initially drew me in. I still love Heartland Radio 2.0 and look forward to it every week. But I find myself skipping Pats show because he just repeats himself every week and screams hot takes like every other show out there.
