This has quickly become my favorite podcast. Not only do I love the blend of conversational and interview structure, but I really appreciate the willingness to leave some questions as open ended, allowing space for us as the listeners to think on them ourselves. Joseph and Nathan each bring a unique perspective to topics they discuss, posing interesting questions and digging beyond the surface and into the heart in each episode. I feel like I’ve found my people, and I would recommend this podcast to anyone who values creativity, faith, searching beyond the easy answer, and occasionally poking fun at yourself and other overthinkers for complicating what could be simple.

This is a fabulous podcast. One of my very favorites. I love to listen to it when I travel. The hosts are smart, funny, and thoughtful — they pull in all kinds of interesting ideas into the mix of the discussion. The topics are highly varied, but always fun and interesting. I highly recommend!

Just the name “The Overthinkers” caught my attention and cracked me up. Hello, relatable! Even though I’m older than these guys and in a different stage of life than them- I reeeeally like the topics they discuss and the angles from which they discuss them. I literally laugh at every episode. Two intelligent men having respectful dialogue on important subjects. Joseph’s writing is also 🤌🏼 Love his alliteration as he introduces each guest! It’s all so nerdy and great. Thanks for all the work you both put into this show! Love it!

I love listening to/participating in these kinds of discussions so I was excited to find another one to follow. Sometimes podcasts like these go way over my head and get way too intellectual, but this one is fun and I can keep up, so it’s great. I’ve enjoyed what I’ve heard.
My only complaint is it seems like they read pre-written scripts or are “talking for the audience” rather than just having a conversation. I get it, remembering all the details is hard, which is why I’m continuing to listen anyway and hoping I just get used to it & get over it.
