The Official Game of Thrones Podcast: House of the Dragon - Podcast Rankings and reviews

Official podcasts are a double edged sword. On one hand, the hosts get to interview the actors, writers, and producers, which is usually interesting (the official HBO Succession pod did a great job on this). On the other hand, you’ll never hear an honest critique, and it’s pretty glaring on this podcast. Greta in particular rarely has anything insightful to say and often resorts to her favorite contribution, sighing. It’s as if she watched the show while scrolling her phone. Jason seems to have slightly more knowledge about the lore, but I would prefer if they had hosts who could provide more insights for listeners who haven’t read the books.

I love listening to your podcast! I look forward to every drop, right after I see an episode! You guys are funny, intelligent, and insightful. Short of me reading the books myself, you are my best source! Congratulations on the success of this podcast! Keep it going!

Found this recently and now it’s a must listen. The hosts are great at pulling the threads of each episode and having guests from the show give insight is really fun!

This podcast is so informative and entertaining… I break all the rules and listen to it before watching each episode. It’s actually helps me understand the nuances of each scene since I’m not a book reader. It’s my favorite podcast.
