Casey really delivers with The Nerdy Photographer! I am by no means a photographer except for funsies with my phone. But he made me feel like even I could produce quality photos with his tips, tricks and suggestions.
He also opened my eyes to something I hadn't realized I was completely blind to, which is representation of non-white, non-supermodel figures in stock photos. As soon as he and his guest began discussing it, it was like one of those moments where your life flashes before your eyes. My mind flashed through photos I'd seen, and I could not pick out a face that wasn't an idealized white image. This is definitely a topic that deserves more attention.
And to top it all off, the sound quality is fantastic, and Casey has a smooth voice that is so easy to keep listening to. Definitely would recommend this podcast to anyone!

I know nothing about photography! Still Casey does a great job keeping you interested(making me laugh) and providing you with great knowledge to help you learn. If you are any level of photographer this a pod for you! Definitely go listen!

The podcast is fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously but isn’t afraid to tackle serious issues (racism & representation in the photo industry) plus episodes are not too long.
