This is not your typical sports show, although they do talk sports at times. What makes this show great is the fact that the hosts, who are fabulous together, laugh at themselves and their ‘hot takes’ as much as their listeners do. It’s self-deprecating at its finest and is so timeless I have episodes from a decade ago that I still listen to and enjoy. Give TMA a shot, you won’t regret it.

Overcaffeinated hosts who are constantly talking over each other to desperately reach for the most glib and sarcastic comment they can find is a lousy way to start the day.

Yes, it's tough to make a go of FM sports radio in this age of broadcasting, but this show simply isn't working, and it didn't work when it was The Balloon Party show.
The former lineup of Randy K, Brooke, and Danny Mac was superb. Budge cuts forced their dismissals, and this replacement show falls FAR short of what was on the radio before this recent change. Sad.

This show can be fun to listen to, and Tim McKernan is very adept at leading discussions on everything from sports to current events to pop culture phenomena. But, Tim too frequently allows the show to lapse into lazy go-to (and 8th grade level) crutches. That’s when the show becomes boring, like a rerun you’ve heard once too often. Be better Tim.
